To Denounce the Evils of Truth and Love

Who want's to be told they're wrong?

No one wants to be wrong, but the fact is, you will be.  Maybe not today, and maybe not tomorrow, but it's gonna happen, and you need to decide how you're going to deal with that.  You have two options.

Option 1
Be glad.  You were wrong, and now you're not.  That person who let you know that you were wrong has done you a favor.  It would have been easy to allow you to go on in your ignorance, but he has chosen to enlighten you instead.

Option 2
Get mad.  You were right, and some jerk had to point out that you weren't.  He must get some perverse pleasure from knowing he's better than everyone else.  Why can't he just live, and let live.

As I grow older, I learn more and more about myself and the world around me.  One thing I've found is that I care about truth much more than most.  I'm just figuring out that ignorance is a life choice.  I'm sure the people who have made that choice did so because they believe it makes them happier.

It's a decision that baffles me.  All I can say for certain is that I'll always choose truth, and that I'm a happy man.  So, who wants to be told they're wrong?  I do.
